LSG is at the 4th spot on the points table while RCB is at the 5th after the loss against KKR.

In the 2022 season, LSG and RCB have faced each other twice and RCB defeated LSG in both the matches. They both were in good form and the second clash between them was the Eliminator match which RCB won by 14 runs by putting 207 runs on the board. Rajat Patidar smashed a brilliant century in that match but unfortunately he is not part of this season due to injury.

The first face-off between LSG and RCB this season took place on 10th April and RCB lost the match at their home ground Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB put up a huge score of 212 runs but LSG chased the target on the last ball with the heroic innings of Nicholas Pooran, who smashed 62 runs in just 19 deliveries at a destructive strike rate of 326.32.
