IPL 2024 Full Schedule - Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore to play the Season Opener

The much-awaited schedule for the IPL 2024 has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The 17th season of the biggest T20 cricket league is set to commence on 22nd March 2024. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the season opener match which will take place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

They have currently released the fixtures for the first 21 matches till 7th April. The remaining list of fixtures will be released after the announcement of 2024 Lok Sabha elections dates.

CSK became the joint-most successful IPL team with 5th title win last year in the IPL 2023 edition. They defeated Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final game when CSK required 10 runs off the last 2 balls and Ravindra Jadeja smashed 2 boundaries to carry his team to the winning end.

In the schedule, there are 4 double-headers and the match start timings are the same. The afternoon game will start at 3:30 PM and the evening match will begin at 7:30 PM.

The first double-header of the season will take place on 23rd March which will feature - Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad.
