About Lucknow Super Giants Team (LSG)
Lucknow Super Giants is one of the two new teams which joined the league in IPL 2022 edition. They have been impressive in the 2 seasons they played so far. In both the seasons, they finished at the 3rd position on the points table and advanced to the playoffs.
In the 2023 edition, LSG got into the playoffs but lost to Mumbai Indians in the eliminator match, a repeat of the fate they faced in their debut season in 2022.
KL Rahul has recovered from an injury for which he went to UK for the examination and is expected to be fit for the IPL 2024.

LSG Team Information
Lucknow Super Giants is fully owned by RPSG Group which is led by Sanjiv Goenka, who previously owned IPL franchise Rising Pune Supergiant in 2016-17.
LSG is based in Lucknow, which is the capital city of UP. BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium serves as the home ground for this side.
Ahead of the IPL auction last year, LSG released a total of 10 players including Avesh Khan, Daniel Sams, Romario Shepherd, Manan Vohra and Jaydev Unadkat.
LSG has roped in David Willey and Ashton Turner, among others, from the auction to strengthen the bowling attack.
