About Royal Challengers Bengaluru Team (RCB)

Royal Challengers Bengaluru has been part of the Indian Premier League since the first season in 2008. They are still in pursuit of their first ever IPL trophy after reaching the finals thrice. After Virat Kohli’s long tenure as the captain of the side, Faf du Plessis was appointed as the skipper in 2022 after the former stepped down from the position.

Under Faf’s captaincy, RCB reached the playoffs in the IPL 2022 edition and missed the playoffs in 2023 by one win. He will lead the side once again in the upcoming season of the IPL.
