Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Punjab Kings in the Match 8th of the IPL 2022 on 1st April at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Kolkata Knight Riders are looking in decent form. They started off well by defeating CSK in the opening match but lost to RCB while defending 129. Despite having such a less total to defend, the KKR bowling line-up made things difficult for RCB but they managed to win by 3 wickets.
PBKS had a dream start to the season after defeating RCB in the first match. Batting first, RCB put up a total of 205 runs but PBKS batters displayed a great form and chased the target in 19 overs.
Things are still a little tight for KKR as Pat Cummins and Aaron Finch are still not available for selection as the Pakistan tour is still underway.
Captain Shreyas Iyer is struggling a bit with only 33 runs so far but he has been in good form lately and can bounce back any time soon. Umesh Yadav is in good touch currently, picking 4 wickets in 2 matches.
