Rajasthan Royals have had a decent tournament so far with three wins in five games. They lost their last game to Gujarat Titans and will be keen to get back to winning ways. They are currently placed fourth on the points table. Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders have played six games, winning three and losing as many.
Trent Boult missed out in the last game due to injury. The exact nature or extent of his injury is not confirmed. His participation in the coming game is doubtful.
Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal will open the innings. Buttler has been in stellar form this season. RR, however, will need runs from Padikkal. Sanju Samson will follow the openers. Samson has also looked decent in the tournament so far.
There is plenty of firepower in RR's middle order with players like Shimron Hetmyer, Rassie Van der Dussen and Riyan Parag. All are capable to play big shots and end the innings on a high.
James Neesham and R Ashwin will be the all-rounders. Ashwin will be more needed with the ball, while Neesham will be responsible for hitting some lusty blows towards the end.
In the absence of Boult, Kuldeep Sen and Prasidh Krishna will take care of the pace bowling. However, Yuzvendra Chahal will be the main man with the ball.

KKR looks a well-settled unit and they won't be keen on making too many changes in the team.
Aaron Finch and Venkatesh Iyer will open the innings, followed by Shreyas Iyer. All three batters need to ensure that KKR gets to a solid start. The players have not lived up to the expectations so far.
Nitish Rana and Sheldon Jackson will be the willow wielders in the middle order. Rana scored a 50 in the last game and KKR needs him to continue his form. Jackson also needs to contribute as a batter.
KKR have a plethora of dangerous all-rounders like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Pat Cummins. All can hit the ball a long way but can be inconsistent at times. Cummins and Narine will be crucial will the ball as well.
Umesh Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy and Aman Khan will be the three specialist bowlers. Umesh has been top class in the tournament, but Varun has been ordinary. He needs to find his form.
