The 16th match of the IPL 2022 will witness Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans locking horns with each other on 8th April at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
PBKS and GT, both are doing good so far. GT is at the 3rd place on the table while PBKS is at the 4th spot. GT hasn't lost any matches so far.
PBKS has a strong squad this year with their new signings. The entry of Kagiso Rabada has beefed up the bowling unit.
Shikhar Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa are doing well at the top but skipper and opener Mayank Agarwal needs to bring his A-game to provide a better start to the innings.
Liam Livingstone played brilliantly with both bat and ball in the last match and probably has cemented his place, as the they will now look to replace an overseas player if they wish to include Jonny Bairstow into the playing 11 but it is certain that there are less chances they will make Livingstone sit outside now. Livingstone’s form in the last match also prompted us to make him captain in the PBKS vs GT Dream11 prediction.
Odean Smith is one option for the team to replace Bairstow with. But that will also take away one all-rounder who has picked 2 wickets as well.
The bowling department looks quite aggressive now with Rahul Chahar in good attacking form and Arshdeep, Rabada and Livingstone bowling decently. Vaibhav Arora, who made his debut in the last match, has impressed everyone with his 2/21 figures.

GT has been very impressive so far, winning both the matches. Although the batting line-up looks decent, the bowling unit makes up for it. Shubman Gill’s form is an important factor for GT for the future matches.
Vijay Shankar coming in at first down is not proving beneficial for the team as he has scored only 37 runs in 2 matches.
Rahul Tewatia is doing what he does the best, taking the team out of the claws of the opposition. He is batting well but yet to pick wickets. Hardik Pandya is back with his bowling now and he is an all rounder asset now.
The real strength of GT lies in the bowling unit. Ferguson and Shami have picked 9 wickets so far. Rashid Khan and Varun Aaron are also bowling decently.
