With IPL playoffs nearing, the race to the top 4 has intensified. Both DC and PBKS are still in the haunt to reach the top 4, however, a loss in the coming game will quash all hopes of qualification for them. Both teams have 12 points on the table and need to win both their remaining games to qualify on their own.
Punjab have been very inconsistent this season. They have failed to win back to back games which has not given them any momentum. However, they have looked a much more stable team in the last few games. They crushed Bangalore in the last game and are likely to play the same team.
Jonny Bairstow and Shikhar Dhawan form a formidable opening pair, which will be followed by Bhanuka Rajapaksa. Bairstow played a brilliant knock of 66 in the last game and has looked good in recent games. Dhawan has also been in good form this season, delivering consistently. Rajapaksa has also been quite handy for PBKS.
Liam Livingstone, Mayank Agarwal and Jitesh Sharma will comprise a strong middle order. Livingstone has been destructive for Punjab in the middle overs, while Sharma has been very impressive as well. Mayank though needs to get back to form and lead his team to the playoffs.
Lack of all-rounders has hurt Punjab this season and their batting depth has been compromised due to the same.
Kagiso Rabada, Harpreet Brar, Rishi Dhawan and Rahul Chahar will be the bowlers. Rabada has been terrific for Punjab this season. Other bowlers, however, will have to raise their game.

Prithvi Shaw has recovered from Typhoid and was discharged from the hospital. However, it's unlikely that he will play the next game.
Srikar Bharat is likely to open alongside David Warner. The team has missed Shaw and even though he has recovered from the illness, he is unlikely to play the coming game. Warner, however, has been in sizzling form for Delhi.
Mitchell Marsh, Rishabh Pant and Lalit Yadav will follow the openers. Marsh smoked 89 off 62 in the last game. He has looked good in the last few games. Yadav and Pant, however, need to start performing consistently.
In Rovman Powell, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur, Delhi have a plethora of all-rounders. While Powell and Axar have been good. Shardul has been ordinary.
Delhi have one of the best bowling lineups in the tournament, with Anrich Nortje, and Kuldeep Yadav to accompany the all-rounders.
