WBBL 2022-23: Harmanpreet Re-signs With Melbourne Renegades

India’s white-ball captain Harmanpreet Kaur re-signs with WBBL franchise Melbourne Renegades once again for the upcoming 8th season of the Women’s Big Bash League this summer.

In the last season, Harmanpreet emerged as the Player of the Tournament scoring 406 runs and took 15 wickets. She is one of the top all-rounders of the world and currently leading the white-ball teams in India after former skipper Mithali Raj retired.

On re-signing with the Renegades, Harmanpreet said, “I'm excited to be coming back to the Renegades, I really enjoyed being part of the team environment last season and feel like that helped me produce some of my best cricket.”

Harmanpreet smashed 18 sixes in the last season, batted at no.4 and helped win a few matches for the team and Renegades finished the season at the 2nd spot on the table.

As far as her recent form is concerned, Harmanpreet Kaur led her team Supernovas to lift the trophy and she was the leading run scorer of the tournament with 151 runs in 3 matches at an average of 50.33.
