Much-awaited schedule for the Asia Cup 2023 has been announced by the Asian Cricket Council. ACC president Jay Shah has released the fixtures list through a social media post. The tournament is set to kick-off on 30th August with the opening match between Pakistan and Nepal at Multan. The Asia Cup 2023 will be played in the One-Day International format. Sri Lanka are the defending champions after defeating Pakistan in the last Asia Cup in 2022.

Asia Cup 2023 Host Country

The 16th edition of the Asia Cup will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan. This will be the first time that the Asia Cup will be hosted by two nations. A total of 13 matches will take place out of which 4 matches will take place in Pakistan while the remaining 9 matches will be hosted by Sri Lanka.

The final match is scheduled to take place on 17th September, 2023 at Colombo, Sri Lanka. Kandy and Colombo will host the matches in Sri Lanka while in Pakistan, Multan will host the opening clash and the remaining 3 matches will be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Asia Cup 2023 Teams

The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match is scheduled to take place on 2nd September in Kandy, Sri Lanka. 5 full-time members of the ACC - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan along with Nepal will take place in the 2023 Asia Cup. Nepal qualified for the tournament after winning the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup. Nepal will be making their debut in the Asia Cup.

Here is the complete schedule of the Asia Cup 2023. The first match will take place on 20th August and the Final will be held on 17th September. In the Super 4 round, only 1 match will take place in Pakistan and rest of the matches including the final match will be held in Sri Lanka.
