Indian right-arm pacer, Harshal Patel is most-likely to miss the upcoming continental tournament Asia Cup 2022 due to rib-injury. He last played T20I on 10th July against England in which he picked 2 wickets for 35 runs. He was in the team squad on the West Indies tour but couldn’t be part of the playing 11 due to his injury.

His injury might keep him away from the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 which is scheduled to commence on August 27 and the much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash is scheduled for August 28 at Dubai. Arshdeep Singh made his T20I debut against England on 7th July at Southampton. In the first match, Arshdeep impressed everyone with his bowling figures of 2/18.

He was then called up for the West Indies tour and got the opportunity to be in the playing 11 for all the 5 T20Is. In 5 matches, he picked 7 wickets at an impressive economy of 6.58.
