RCB has once again started the tournament on a positive note. They have won two of the three games. The batting has done well, while the bowlers have also been decent. The team would like to continue the momentum.
MI, on the other hand, has been poor. While the batting still looks decent, barring Bumrah, others in the bowling department have not been good enough. Mumbai have lost all their three games so far.
With Glenn Maxwell available for selection, Sherfane Rutherford is likely to make way for him.
Faf Du Plessis and Anuj Rawat will open the innings, followed by Virat Kohli. Faf and Kohli are match winners and have looked good in the tournament.
Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed and Dinesh Karthik will take charge of the middle order. Maxwell will be keen to make an impact in the first game, while Ahmed played a match-winning knock in the last game. Karthik will be the main finisher.
Wanindu Hasaranga and David Willey will be the all-rounders. Both players add depth to the side. Hasaranga will be the main man with the ball as well.
Akash Deep, Harshal Patel and Mohammed Siraj will be the pacers. Patel and Siraj have done well for the franchise in the last two years, while Akash Deep has also been decent.

Mumbai's bowling looks weak. They may bring in Riley Meredith in place of Daniel Sams. Jaydev Unadkat can also get a game.
Rohit Sharma, and Ishan Kishan form a solid opening pair, who will be followed by Dewald Brevis. Sharma has not fired yet but he is a dangerous player. Kishan has been very good and Mumbai will be keen to see him score runs in the coming game. Brevis played a cracking inning of 29 in the last game and gave a glimpse of what he is capable of.
Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma will take charge of the middle overs. Yadav scored a 50 in the last match and help Mumbai post a decent total after a poor start. Tilak Varma too has been very good this season.
Kieron Pollard will be the only all-rounder in the team. Pollard can be destructive in final overs, as we saw in the last match where he scored 22 off 5 balls. He can chip in with a few overs as well.
Jasprit Bumrah, Basil Thampi, Riley Meredith and Murugan Ashwin will be the likely bowling attack for Mumbai. While Bumrah has been good, others have blown hot and cold. Murugan Ashwin can be a match-winner for Mumbai on this pitch.
