Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Preview
Chennai Super Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 22 of the Indian T20 League. CSK have been very ordinary in the tournament, losing all their games so far. They have looked a pale shadow of the team that won the tournament last year, despite retaining the core. Meanwhile, RCB has been brilliant under Faf du Plessis, winning three of the four games.
Chennai Super Kings
We feel that CSK is playing with their best XI and despite losing four games, will play with the same team.
Top Order
Robin Uthappa and Ruturaj Gaikwad will open the innings, followed by Moeen Ali. Gaikwad has been disappointing and will be keen to live up to the expectations. Uthappa too will be eager to convert their starts.
Middle-Order
Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni will be the batters to follow. Both players have been disappointing so far.
All-Rounders
Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo will be the all-rounders. Dube has been good with the bat but hasn't done much with the ball. Jadeja too has been ordinary, so has Bravo.
Bowlers
Chris Jordan, Maheesh Theekshana and Mukesh Chaudhary comprise the bowling attack. The attack does look bleak and players will have to punch above their weight to make an impact
CSK Key Batsman
- Ruturaj Gaikwad - Gaikwad was the star for CSK last season but has not yet fired in this season. Runs from him is a must for CSK.
- Ambati Rayudu - Rayudu is an IPL veteran and has done well for CSK in recent years. However, this season he has been very poor. CSK need runs from him.
- Moeen Ali - Moeen is a game-changer with the bat. At no 3, he is responsible for providing steady momentum to the innings. He will be keen to do the same in the next game.

- Chris Jordan - Jordan too is a bowler who has plenty of variations up his sleeves. CSK will need him to be in his elements in the next game and help SRH limit to a low score.
- Maheesh Theekshana - He had a wicketless outing in the last game but he has done well for Sri Lanka and in T20 tournaments of late. He is expected to have a good game.

Top Order
Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat will open the innings. Rawat played a brilliant knock off 66 in the last game, while Du Plessis has also looked good. Virat Kohli will follow them.
Middle Order
Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik are two great batters in the middle orders. Both can win games on their own and are in good form.
All-rounders
Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga will be the all-rounders. Ahmed has already won a game for RCB with the bat, while Hasaranga has been brilliant with the ball.
Bowlers
Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep are certain to play. The team will also likely bring in Josh Hazlewood in place of David Willey. In place of Harshal Patel, they can play Siddharth Kaul.
