New Zealand won the preceding ODI series 3-0, but Ireland can be mighty proud of themselves. They could have easily won the first and final ODI but New Zealand held their nerves better and won the contests. They chased 20 in the first ODI and won the match by 1 wicket, while Ireland lost the final ODI by 1, run chasing a mammoth 361.
Both teams boast of some quality T20 players and given what we saw in the ODIs, the T20Is should also be evenly fought.
Any wicket in Ireland will offer some help to the pacers early on and we are expecting a similar surface in Belfast. As the game will progress, the wicket will get better to bat.
The weather will be good for cricket with temperatures ranging between 24 to 17 degrees. While there will be some clouds around, rain is unlikely to cause any hindrance.
Paul Stirling, Andrew Balbirnie (c), Andy McBrine, Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, Lorcan Tucker (wk), George Dockrell, Craig Young, Joshua Little, Gareth Delany, Barry McCarthy
Martin Guptill, Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips (wk), Mark Chapman, Michael Bracewell, Jimmy Neesham Mitchell Santner (c), Ish Sodhi, Blair Tickner, Lockie Ferguson
Ireland will most probably step in with almost the same team that played in the final ODI, with Barry McCarthy coming in for Graham Hume. New Zealand will make a few changes as players like Will Young, Henry Nicholls, Tom Latham are not in the squad.
The two teams have played in one match before where NZ won comprehensively

He is a dangerous T20 batter and can decimate the best bowling attacks. In the final ODI, he scored a century and almost helped Ireland come close to the target of 361. He has to be in the team.
Guptill is another T20 veteran. He too scored a century in the final ODI and decimated the Irish bowling attack. He is also a handy player to have.
Harry Tector seems to be in the form of his life. In the preceding ODI series, he scored two hundreds in tough conditions. It will be a big mistake to leave him out.
Neesham often blows hot and cold but on his day, he is a match winner who can win matches with both the bat and ball. He is another good pick for our team.
The Kiwi skipper is a very fine T20 bowler, who is not easy to get away. Also, Ireland batters struggle against spinners thus Santner is a very good pick.
Dream11 Captain – Mitchell Santner
