Quetta Gladiators Team News & Playing 11

QTG Team News

Anwar Ali replacing Mohammad Irfan was the only change from the previous game last time out, and the Gladiators are likely to keep changes at a minimum again. They do have Dwayne Bravo and Harry Gurney available, however.

QTG Key Players

Shane Watson has already showed some of his best batting form, with an unbeaten 81 against Islamabad United and 61 against Multan Sultans.

Umar Akmal hit 75 from 50 balls in the Gladiators' first game, against Peshawar Zalmi, and then followed that with 44 and an unbeaten 17 in his next two knocks.

Quetta also boast the Bangladesh Premier League's recent top scorer, with 558 runs – Rilee Rossouw. The South African hit 67 from 45 balls int the win against Multan Sultas.

It was Sarfraz Ahmed who led them to victory last time out, however, with an unbeaten half-century, which he brought up with a match-winning six off the final ball of the game.

Sohail Tanvir continued his good bowling form last time out too. He took 4-21 against Islamabad United, 1-29 against Multan Sultans and 2-21 against Lahore Qalandars.

QTG Team Form

Sarfraz Ahmed's last-ball six led Quetta Gladiators to their fourth consecutive win last time out, as they beat Lahore Qalandars by three wickets. Ghulam Mudassar (3-21) and Sohail Tanvir (2-21) had earlier helped restrict the Qalandars to 143/7

Karachi Kings Team News & Playing 11

KRK Team News

Colin Munro flew straight from New Zealand duty and into the starting line-up last time out, as Liam Livingstone dropped down the batting order. Aamer Yamin has played the last two matches ahead of Sohail Khan, while Awais Zia slotted into the batting line-up last time out. The personnel are there, they now just need results.

KRK Key Players

Ben Dunk top-scored last time out, hitting an unbeaten 49 from 32 balls to continue a strong Big Bash - which finished with him hitting a half-century in a losing cause in the final.

Babar Azam hit 27 from 21 balls, having hit 77 in the first game and 28 in the second to prove why he is such a popular figure at the top of the order. His opening partnership with Colin Munro could be key - Munro arrives off the back of international duty with New Zealand.

Liam Livingstone shared a 157-run partnership with Azam in the first game but will want to get back to his explosive best.

Karachi, meanwhile, have Mohammad Amir and Usman Shinwari in the wickets - though both missed out last time. Instead it was Imad Wasim who led the bowling with 2-27 from his four overs.

KRK Team Form

Liam Livingstone and Babar Azam's record-breaking opening stand in Karachi's first game already seems a long time ago. They helped Karachi to 183/6 before Mohammad Amir claimed 4-25 in a seven-run win against Multan Sultans.

Since then, they have lost three from three. First, they were bowled out for 116 after being set just 139 to beat Lahore Qalandars and then collapsed to 109/9 chasing 154 to beat Peshawar Zalmi.

Most recently, Ben Dunk hit 49* in a total of 143/6 against Islamabad United but the latter eased to a seven-wicket win with 3.5 overs remaining.
