Four out of the seven T20 internationals (excluding one tied game between Canada and Zimbabwe) played at the Maple Leaf North-West Ground have been won by the side bowling first. Also since determining a safe score here can be difficult, the team that wins the toss in this match will probably prefer chasing.

Montreal Tigers have named a 16-man squad for this first edition of the Global T20 Canada. Lasith Malinga will be leading the side that includes reputed international names like Sunil Narine, Mohammad Hafeez, Thisara Perera and Denesh Ramdin. The team have also drafted Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane into their squad. Zimbabwean batsman Sikandar Raza, New Zealand allrounder George Worker and Sri Lankan allrounder Dasun Shanaka are the other players in the side having international stature.
Montreal Tigers will depend primarily on Sunil Narine, Sikandar Raza and Denesh Ramdin at the top of the order. Narine is likely to open the batting and he has shown in the past IPL seasons how dangerous he can be at that position. With 50 T20I wickets to his name, he is also one of the key men in this lineup when it comes to bowling. Thisara Perera is a power-hitter and one can expect a few fireworks from him down the order. The Sri Lankan allrounder will also have a big role to play with the ball and so will skipper Lasith Malinga who has 90 wickets in 68 T20 internationals.
Sunil Narine, Nicholas Kirton, Sikandar Raza, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Dasun Shanaka, George Worker, Thisara Perera, Sandeep Lamichhane, Lasith Malinga (c), Rayyan Pathan, Dillon Heyliger
West Indian allrounder Dwayne Bravo has been appointed as captain of the Winnipeg Hawks. David Warner, who is currently undergoing a one-year suspension from international cricket for his involvement in the Ashes ball-tampering scandal, has been picked by the team as its marquee player. The 16-member squad also boasts South African explosive batsman David Miller, West Indian opener Lendl Simmons and fast bowler Fidel Edwards in addition to Darren Bravo.
Winnipeg Hawks have a formidable opening pair in David Warner and Lendl Simmons. Both like to put the bowlers under pressure from the start and are very difficult to stop once they get going. David Miller has a strike rate of 140 in T20 internationals and can be highly destructive on his day. Skipper Dwayne Bravo is more than just handy with the bat and he too can hit the ball a long way into the stands. The West Indian allrounder will also be the go-to bowler for the Hawks, especially toward the backend of the innings. Fast bowlers Fidel Edwards and Rayad Emrit are also big threats in this pace attack and they will be backed by the team to take wickets with the new ball.
David Warner, Lendl Simmons, Rizwan Cheema, David Miller, Hiral Patel, Hamza Tariq (wk), Dwayne Bravo (c), Rayad Emrit, Mark Deyal, Fidel Edwards, Ali Khan
Winnipeg Hawks begin as the bookmakers' favorites to win the second game of the Global T20 Canada 2018. They are being offered at odds of 1.72 on Betway, 1.61 on Bet365 and 1.64 on Betfair. Montreal Tigers are outsiders for this game and are priced higher at 2 on Betway, 2.30 on Bet365 and 2.26 on Betfair.
Both teams have a few quality players on their rosters and neither can be completely written off. While Montreal Tigers appear to be a bowling-heavy side, Winnipeg Hawks have a strong batting lineup but do not have as much firepower in their bowling as the Tigers possess. So this will basically be a contest between the Hawks' batsmen and Tigers' bowlers. Although Montreal Tigers are not a weak side, we feel that Winnipeg Hawks with their star-studded batting lineup are slightly better placed to win this encounter.
Final Verdict: Back Winnipeg Hawks to beat Montreal Tigers at 1.72 with Betway, 1.61 with Bet365 and 1.64 with Betfair.
