After an impressive win over Ireland and Scotland in the T20I series, New Zealand will travel to the Netherlands for a two-match T20I series. Both Ireland and Scotland failed to beat New Zealand in even a single match, and it will be an uphill task for the Netherlands as well.
The hosts last played in the T20 world cup qualifiers where they lost to Zimbabwe in the final, though they managed to qualify for the T20 World Cup in Australia. They have some good players and if they all play to their potential, the Netherlands may compete with New Zealand. They may get good scores on the board, but their bowling will be a cause of concern.
The pitches will be good cricketing wickets with something in it for the batters as well as the bowlers. The new ball might swing early on but that shouldn’t last long and bowlers can make merry after that.
The weather will be partially cloudy and the temperature will range between 23 to degrees. There are minimum chances of rain but the Europe weather is very unpredictable.
Stephan Myburgh, Max ODowd, Bas de Leede, Tom Cooper, Scott Edwards (c & wk), Teja Nidamanuru, Tim Pringle, Logan van Beek, Shariz Ahmad, Vivian Kingma, Aryan Dutt

NZ have retained their squad from the Scotland tour for the Netherlands series. They are likely to give chances to players who didn’t get chance to play against Scotland. Netherlands don’t have too many options and might play the same team that played in the T20 World Cup qualifier final against ZIM with a couple of players like Fred Klaassen and Paul van Meekeeran missing out.
Both teams have played only on one occasion against each other, and NZ emerged victorious in the match.

The T20 veteran will be looking to get some good performance against Netherlands. He has been getting starts in recent series but has not been able to convert them into big scores. However, he has looked in great touch.
Finn Allen scored a wonderful hundred against Scotland in the T20I series and he will be looking to continue riding on the momentum and play another good innings to boost his chances of making to the T20 World Cup squad for NZ.
Max O'Dowd is the highest run scorer for Netherlands in T20Is. He has scored 1339 runs 48 matches at an average of 30. He is someone who likes to play his shots and bats as an opener for Netherlands. If he stays for 7-8 overs, Netherlands will get off to a good start while O'Dowd will also have some good runs under his belt.
He is a good all-rounder who can contribute with bat as well as ball. While he can be inconsistent at times, he is a match winner on his day.
Mitchell Santner is one of the most underrated spinners in T20Is. Almost in every match, he takes wickets for New Zealand while being extremely economical at the same time. If required, he can come in and play a few big shots as well. He a very valuable player in T20Is and when available at low credits, one should not think twice before selecting him in the team.
