Gujarat Titans will eye a spot in yet another IPL final when they host Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2. GT will start the match as favourites and will have a huge home advantage. MI have done well to reach the playoffs after their batters picked form but going past Gujarat Titans won’t be easy at all.
MI’s bowling has been an issue and even though Piyush Chawla and Akash Madhwal have done well, they seem to have plenty of loopholes in the bowling department. For GT, they are a much more balanced side, with quality batting and bowling options.
The pitch will be a good one to bat, however, bowlers will get some help as well. The new ball has swung at the Narendra Modi Stadium while the spinners have got the ball to turn as well.
The weather will be cloudy and there will be 20 per cent chance of rain as well. The overcast conditions will help the fast bowlers get more swing.

GT lost their last game but they have backed their players throughout the season while MI won’t even think about changing their winning combination. No changes are expected in either of the teams.
The head-to-head stats are 2-1 in favour of MI. The teams met twice this year, with GT and MI winning one match apiece.

Shubman Gill has been in great form. He is the second-leading run-scorer of the tournament with 722 runs and is just nine runs away from grabbing the orange cap. Gill has scored two centuries in the last three games.
When it comes to must-win games, there is no better game changer than Miller. The South Africa batter is yet to play at his full potential but has played a few impactful knocks for his side. He is expected to do well in this crucial game.
Suryakumar Yadav has been in great form for MI in the second half of the tournament. He has scored 544 runs, including a century this year and if MI has to go past GT in this must-win game, Surya has to play a big role.
Rashid Khan will be a big player for GT. We have seen the spinners get help in Ahmedabad and Rashid Khan will exploit any help that’s on offer. Also, he is a handy batter down the order and has shown good hitting form. If required, GT can use him as a pinch hitter to shock MI.
Shami has been sensational this year and is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 26 wickets in 15 matches. He is followed by Rashid Khan so the pair will make life tough for the Mumbai Indians.
