Chasing 99 to win in a heavily rain reduced fixture at Edgbaston, after losing a wicket to the first ball of their reply, the Outlaws recovered to 55-2 from 3.2 overs with Alex Hales and Ben Duckett at the crease. However, the middle order were unable to deliver and the Outlaws lost the game by 1 run. With the ball, Notts Outlaws struggled in a shortened format with the majority of their pace bowlers going for high figure runs per over numbers.
