Captain Dwayne Bravo's brief stint in charge of the Winnipeg Hawks is over after he departed to take part in England's t20 Blast with Middlesex. David Warner took charge in his absence against the CWI B Team and is now looking for his first win as Winnipeg captain.

West Indian opener Lendl Simmons is among the top scorers in the competition having hit 13 fours and ten sixes on his way to 149 runs in the first four games. His last two innings have brought 44 and 45 runs respectively.

Ben McDermott hit 68 in the first match, meanwhile, and has scored 25 and 31 in his last two matches but has not kicked on since that first game.

Captain David Warner is yet to hit his stride on his return to cricket but the Australian should never be discounted with his attacking style at the top of the order.

With the ball, in Dwayne Bravo's absence, veteran West Indian pace man Fidel Edwards has stepped up with 2/8 and 1/17 (both from the full four overs) in his two matches so far.

Trinidad & Tobago all-rounder Tion Webster hit 49* with the bat against Vancouver, meanwhile, and then claimed 4/22 with the ball against the Toronto Nationals.

Winnipeg Hawks have been inconsistent so far. They won their first match against Montreal Tigers after posting 203/4 from their 20 overs before bowling the Tigers out for 157 - Ben McDermott and Darren Bravo both hit half-centuries in the Hawks' innings.

They failed to defend 156/9 against Vancouver Knights in their second match, however, falling to a six-wicket defeat with 14 balls remaining. Winnipeg's bowlers bounced back in their next match, though - Tion Webster taking 4/22 as they bowled Toronto Nationals out for 108 in a 56-run win.

Last time out, however, they fell to a nine-wicket loss against the CWI B Team. Winnipeg posted 151/8 and, despite Fidel Edwards' 1/17 from four overs, the Cricket West Indies' team reached their target in just 13 balls.
