Trinbago Knight Riders qualified for this final with a record of a one run win over Barbados Royals and a no-result against Guyana Amazon Warriors. As a result, they are the only unbeaten side in the tournament and face off against Barbados Royals in a re-match from the opening game of the tournament. Although the game against the Warriors produced a no-result, the Knight Riders did bat their 20 overs before the rain arrived. Barbados Royals bounced back from their narrow defeat to Trinbago Knight Riders in Match 1 by beating Guyana Amazon Warriors by four wickets with six balls remaining on Saturday evening. After winning the toss and choosing to field first, the Warriors were restricted to 100-7 with two wickets each for Fatima Sana and Shakera Selman. Pace bowler Chinelle Henry took 1-16 with the other three bowlers used not dismissing a batter. The Royals never looked like losing the chase although, when Hayley Matthews and Chloe Tryon were dismissed with the score moving on by only three runs, it did for a brief moment five the Warriors some hope. The Royals will be relishing this game giving themselves the opportunity to make amends for the defeat earlier in the tournament.
