St Lucia vs Trinbago Prediction

With three fifties and two fifties each, Hashim Amla and Colin Munro have been the most successful batsmen at the top of their batting order. Both are among this year's top 5 batsmen and either can top-score against the Zouks. As usual, middle-order batting will depend on Bravo and Akmal and the two will look to capitalize on the start provided by Amla and Munro.

Skipper Dwayne Bravo with 19 wickets to his name is currently the leading wicket-taker. He finished his spell with excellent figures of 4 for 13 in the last match and he can be dangerous at the Warner Park, especially at the death. Sunil Narine is always going to be one of the major threats with the ball in these Caribbean conditions. So the Zouks will look to play these two bowlers with extreme caution.

Our Prediction

The two teams will be coming face to face at the Warner Park for the first time since the inception of CPL. Till now, in the six games between them, Trinbago Knight Riders have four wins while St Lucia Zouks have two. So the former have a better head-to-head record. Also, the most recent face-off was also won by the Knight Riders last week.

The Darren Sammy-led St Lucia Zouks will be all charged up having won their last two outings to make it to their first ever playoffs. We, however, are backing title defenders Trinbago Knight Riders to win this second playoff due to their strong record over them.
