Beuran Hendricks made his ODI debut in the third game, while Quinton de Kock and Dale Steyn both returned after being rested for the first two games. While the focus is partly on the forthcoming World Cup, it could be an unchanged team for the fourth game with Heinrich Klaasen, Dane Paterson and Duanne Olivier all missing out.

South Africa boast a stunning batting line-up, with Quinton de Kock slotting back in to open the batting last time out, and Hashim Amla having hit his 27th ODI century during the first game of this series.

Next in is Reeza Hendricks, who was unbeaten on 83 when the rain came last time out, and captain Faf du Plessis - who hit an unbeaten 40 last time out. Rassie van der Dussen has scored 93 and 80* in his two ODI matches so far, meanwhile - the first two games of this series.

David Miller has been limited to small cameos, meanwhile, but hit 139 in the series-deciding win against Australia prior to this series. Then there is Andile Phehlukwayo, who took a career-best 4-22 and scored a career-best 69* in the win in the second ODI. 

Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada both took two wickets apiece last time out, meanwhile. Steyn now has 194 wickets in 121 ODIs and Rabada moves to 97 in 60 appearances.

South Africa have won seven of their last nine ODIs in total, and came into this series looking to back up series wins against Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Australia. They beat the latter 2-1 away from home, with Faf du Plessis (125) and David Miller (139) sharing a series-winning fourth-wicket partnership in the decider - a 40-run win defending 320/5.

Against Pakistan, they lost the first game despite Hashim Amla's unbeaten century and Rassie van der Dussen's 93, failing to defend 266/2 but they have hit back well. First, Andile Phehlukwayo's 4-22 helped dismiss Pakistan for 203 before Van der Dussen (80*) and Phehlukwayo (69*) guided them to victory.

In the third game, last time out, South Africa continued their good form despite conceding 317/6 from Pakistan's 50 overs. In reply, Reeza Hendricks hit an unbeaten 83 before the rain came to curtail the chase at 187/2 from 33 overs - comfortably above the D/L par.

Pakistan have looked at different options so far in this series. Shaheen Afridi has played the last two games, while Mohammad Amir returned last time out, as did Imad Wasim - the latter having played the first game. Hussain Talat made his ODI debut in the second match, while Usman Shinwari is also pushing for a return and Mohammad Rizwan is so far unused in this series.

Imam-ul-Haq scored two half-centuries in the Asia Cup and he has hit scores of 86 and 101 in two of the matches in this series too to continue his fine ODI form. Fakhar Zaman was also in good form coming into this series, after scoring 88 and 65 against New Zealand.

Babar Azam was in the same boat and he has continued his form in South Africa. He scored 46 and 92 in the final two games in New Zealand and followed that with 49 in the first game of this series and 69 last time out to keep his ODI average above 50. Mohammad Hafeez also chipped in with a half-century last time out.

With the ball, Shaheen Afridi took 3-44 in the second ODI after nine wickets in the series against New Zealand too. Mohammad Amir will be looking to share the new ball with him and will want to get back among the wickets - he took 12 in the test series.

PAK Team Form

Pakistan won the ICC Champions Trophy in England in 2017 but have not kicked on fully. They beat Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe 5-0 in two of their next three series, but lost 5-0 to New Zealand in between.

They reached the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup but lost to Bangladesh in the final game to miss out on a place in the final, before a tied series with New Zealand/ They lost the first match by 47 runs as they were bowled out for 219, but bounced back to chase 210 to win the second game - Fakhar Zaman scoring 88 and Babar Azam 46. In the final game, Babar Azam posted 92 and Zaman 65 only for the rain to prevent a result.

So far in South Africa, Imam-ul-Haq has been their top batsman with scores of 86 and 101 in the first and third ODI respectively. The first helped Pakistan to a five-wicket win chasing 267 for victory, but the latter proved in vain as South African won on the D/L method in a rain-shortened game. In between, Pakistan were all out for 203 in a five-wicket defeat.

Finally, last time out, Imam-ul-Haq hammered 101 at the top of the order and shared big partnerships with Babar Azam (69) and Mohammad Hafeez (52) as Pakistan scored 317/6. In reply, South Africa were 187/2 from 33 overs, with Reeza Hendricks unbeaten on 83 and Faf dy Plessis on 40 when the rain came. With no further play possible, South Africa won by 13 runs on the D/L method.

Having come from behind to lead the series, South Africa are 1.44 to beat Pakistan in this fourth ODI with Betfair and Bet365, while Pakistan are 2.75 to win.

South Africa are spoiled for batting choice up the order but they are 1.67 with Betfair to post the highest opening partnership. Bet365 are offering 2.25 on the Pakistani openers, with Fakhar Zaman unable to fire to the same extent as Imam-ul-Haq so far.

On the topic of Imam-ul-Haq, the centurion of the third ODI is 5.00 to top score for a third time in four games for Pakistan with Bet365. Babar Azam is 4.50 and also in good form.

For South Africa, Hashim Amla (3.50) remains their star man, but Rassie van der Dussen is in superb form and could be worth a look at 5.00 - the same price as Ryan Hendricks and Faf du Plessis who were unbeaten and looking good when the rain came last time.
