Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars go head to head in Match 3 of the 2022 Pakistan Super League in Karachi on Saturday afternoon. The Sultans won the opening game of the tournament by 7 wickets on Thursday. This is Lahore Qalandars first match of this season’s competition after finishing 5th in 2021. Multan Sultans turned themselves from a bottom of the table side to the champions in a short period of time last year and kept up their strong run with a 7 wicket win on Thursday.
Lahore Qalandars will be looking to turn their form around after a poor end to last season. They start again with a clean slate but have very tough opposition in this match.
The game will be shown live on A Sports and PTV Sports in Pakistan with Sony Sports Network showing the match in India. Mohammad Rizwan’s team were swift out of the blocks on Thursday and put in an excellent performance with both bat and ball. Rovman Powell hit a century for West Indies on Wednesday and will still be in Barbados for this game but will join up later in the competition. There are no injuries in the Multan Sultans squad.
The Sultans have won their last three games and seven of their last eight PSL matches.
