Who Will Win Montreal Tigers vs Toronto Nationals, Global T20 Canada 2019?
Toronto Nationals kept their play-off hopes alive by beating Montreal Tigers by four wickets and now they meet again in the second round of the 2019 Global T20 Canada. The match, as with every other this tournament, is to be played at Brampton’s CAA Centre. It starts at 12:30 local time on August 7.
It will be the final second round game of the competition and so both teams will know whether they need to win to stay in the tournament by that point. Toronto had lost back-to-back games before Chirag Suri’s half-century led them to their vital victory last time out.
Montreal have also won two of their five matches but are point clear of Toronto thanks to their fortunate no result against Vancouver. Nevertheless, they need to win to stay ahead of the Nationals and take some momentum into their eliminator play-off.

MNT Team News
Alasdair Evans replaced UAE captain Mohammad Naveed last time out, with Naveed on international duty. He bowled well enough to have earned a second crack at it too. Isuru Udana did not feature, having been away with Sri Lanka, but national team-mate Thisara Perera replaced Anton Devcich.
MNT Key Players
Fawad Ahmed: The experienced leg-spinner and former Australia international could not save them with the ball last time out, but he has taken five wickets, including four in the last two games, and bowled economically.
Thisara Perera: Showed a little sign of what he is capable of with bat and ball, when he scored 17 from 13 balls last time out and then took a wicket. Having settled in and shaken off any jet lag, he could be a key figure in these final few games.
Kyle Coetzer: Montreal’s top scorer in each of the last two matches, the Scottish batsman is a lethal hitter of the ball at his best. He has 125 runs in this tournament so far, including his half-century in the win against Edmonton.
MNT Team Form
After bouncing back from a ten-wicket defeat to Brampton and then conceding 276/3 in a fortunate rain-curtailed draw against Vancouver, Montreal looked to be back on track when they chased 154 to beat Edmonton by four wickets.
The Tigers could not back it up against Toronto, however, as they posted just 136/9. In reply, the Nationals chased it with 2.3 overs to spare.

TTN Team News
Captain Yuvraj Singh is a doubt after suffering a back injury that stopped him batting after just two balls in the last match. If he misses out, Brendon McCullum could return – Chirag Suri replaced him and scored a half-century last time out. The other change was also a positive one – Chris Green in for Mark Montfort. Green took two wickets and scored 30*.
TTN Key Players
Chris Green: The star all-rounder last time out, Green has taken seven wickets in his three games so far, while his patient unbeaten 30 showed he can be a good batsman too.
Heinrich Klaasen: A quick-fire 20 last time out continued his run of useful scores through the group stage. The South African has scored 156 runs in five innings so far.
Sandeep Lamichhane: The Nepalese mystery spinner can be an enigma, but the newly-turned 19-year-old has taken a wicket in each of his two matches so far after arriving following international duty with Nepal.
TTN Team Form
