Who will win Leicestershire vs Warwickshire, Vitality T20 Blast 2019?
Leicestershire Foxes and Birmingham Bears face each other at Grace Road in the North Group of the 2019 Vitality Blast. The match takes place on August 7 and the live action begins at 18:30 local time.
Hosts Leicestershire suffered a heavy defeat when they met the Bears in the reverse fixture. They come into this game on the back of just their second win in seven games but know another will lift them ahead of Birmingham and into top-four contention.
The Bears will take heart from their last performance against the Foxes, and also their improved batting performance in their tie with Yorkshire last time out. They too have won two matches so far, but they sit fourth in the North Group.

LEIC vs WARKS Toss Prediction
Leicestershire have won the toss in both of their last two home games and went on to lose the game anyway. Colin Ackermann might actually prefer to lose this toss – he’s due a loss in one anyway.
LEIC vs WARKS Weather Report
A cloudy and cooler but, most importantly, dry day awaits in Leicester on Wednesday. There is very little chance of rain forecast for the evening and it should be great conditions for a day/night match with the cloud clearing by then too.
LEIC vs WARKS Pitch Condition
The Grace Road wicket has favoured the batsmen so far, with some big run rates racked up already. There has been a bit of a break since the last game here, but the fast, even bounce should still be there.

LEIC Team News
Leicestershire stuck with an unchanged team last time out and were rewarded with a win. Consistency could be key if Leicestershire want to start climbing the table again.
LEIC Key Players
Colin Ackermann: Two half-centuries so far have helped him to 220 runs in six innings, putting him top of the Foxes’ batting charts.
Arron Lilley: The former Lancashire man has done his pinch-hitting job to perfection so far. He has one half-century to his name on his way to 160 runs in six innings with a strike rate of 188.23. His bowling has been underused, however – two wickets in 7.5 overs bowled.
Gavin Griffiths: A winner in this competition with Lancashire, he has come into the team and played well – taking five wickets and keeping his economy rate down compared to his team-mates too. He took 3-23 last time out, including the key early wicket of Guptill.
LEIC Team Form
After a losing start, Leicestershire have won two of their last three matches. They got their first win in a rain-reduced game against Nottinghamshire – posting 125/3 from their 11 overs on their way to a 21-run victory.
They lost to Durham next up, posting a below-par 142/7 on their way to an eight-wicket defeat (in just 14.4 overs) but bounced back well against the defending champions, Worcestershire Rapids. After posting 152 all out, they bowled the Rapids out for 119 in reply as Gavin Griffiths and Will Davis each claimed three wickets.

WARKS Team News
Birmingham should have Olly Stone available again to replace James Wainman in the bowling attack. He was one of three players to drop out last time, with Ed Pollock dropped for Dominic Sibley and Ashton Agar out too. Agar should return this time, but Sibley is likely to stay at the top of the order.
WARKS Key Players
Dominic Sibley: Marked his first appearance with 64 off 43 balls at the top of the order last time out. It is the sort of platform Birmingham have been lacking so far in this tournament.
Sam Hain: Currently the Bears’ top run-scorer with 205 from five innings. He has hit just one half-century, highlighting his consistency in his other innings.
Fidel Edwards: Ripped through Leicestershire last time they met. Since his 4-22 in that game, he has gone on to take nine wickets in total from his first five matches.
WARKS Team Form
After back-to-back wins in their first two completed matches in Vitality Blast 2019, Birmingham are without a win in three since but they did end their losing streak with a tie last time out. That was followed by a crushing defeat in Nottingham – the Outlaws posting 184/4 and the bowling the Bears out for just 113. Last time out, however, Birmingham – led by Dom Sibley’s 64 – posted 177/4 against Yorkshire Vikings. The Vikings were cruising in reply but the Bears stood firm to restrict them to the exact same score and a tie.
