Toss Prediction
Six of the last eight T20 matches (seven Blast matches and last month's T20 international between England and India) played at the Old Trafford have been won by the side fielding first. Since the wicket is expected to remain the same throughout the course of the match, the team that wins the toss here is more likely to bowl first.

Lancashire Team News & Playing 11
LANCS Team News
Lancashire Lightning have signed Mark Watt for the remainder of the season. The Scottish spinner replaced Graham Onions in the previous match against Leicestershire Foxes. The team had also made a couple more changes in that game - Keaton Jennings and Jordan Clark were replaced by Josh Bohannon and Danny Lamb respectively. We expect Lancashire to retain the entire group of eleven from that last game.
LANCS Key Players
Alex Davies has been the most consistent batsman for Lancashire in this Vitality Blast 2018. The opening batsman has struck four half-centuries in seven innings and is coming on the back of a brilliant 56-ball 94 against Leicestershire. While Davies is going to be the key man here, the team will also rely on Karl Brown, Arron Lilley and skipper Dane Vilas to come good with the bat. When it comes to bowling, Lancashire will bank on their go-to bowlers James Faulkner, Toby Lester and Matthew Parkinson to do the damage. Pace bowler Lester has been their best bowler so far this season with 11 wickets in 7 matches. Parkinson too has done a pretty decent job having taken 9 wickets in 8 matches at an acceptable economy rate of 8.05.
LANCS Recent Form
Lancashire have won five and lost three out of the nine matches they have played so far and are currently placed fourth in the North Group standings with eleven points in the bag. They were on a five-match winning streak before facing defeats against Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire in their last two completed encounters. In their most recent clash against Leicestershire, Lancashire ended up losing even after posting a big total of 190 in the first innings.
Lancashire Predicted Playing 11
Alex Davies, Karl Brown, Arron Lilley, Josh Bohannon, Dane Vilas (c/wk), Steven Croft, James Faulkner, Danny Lamb, Mark Watt, Toby Lester, Matthew Parkinson
Durham Team News & Playing 11
DUR Team News
Durham Jets made a couple of changes to their side in the last game against Worcestershire Rapids, bringing seamer Barry McCarthy and spinner Ben Whitehead in place of Paul Collingwood and Imran Tahir. Although they ended up losing that game, we expect Durham to go in with an unchanged line-up for this upcoming match against Lancashire.
DUR Key Players
The opening pair of Tom Latham and Graham Clark has done a good job so far and it will be the key for Durham as far as batting is concerned. Latham is third on the season's runs charts with 355 runs which includes three fifties and he is coming off a 49-ball 78 in the last game against Worcestershire. Clark is not too far behind with 322 runs and as many fifties. Knocks from Ryan Pringle and Stuart Poynter will be crucial in the middle order. With the ball, seam bowlers James Weighell and Nathan Rimmington seem to be the main threats. They have taken 13 and 12 wickets respectively in 9 matches and Durham will expect them to bowl well. Lancashire will also be wary of Barry McCarthy who claimed a four-wicket haul in his previous outing.
DUR Recent Form
Durham are currently second on the North Group points table with six wins and three losses from nine league matches. They lost their last game by three wickets against Worcestershire. Batting first, Durham scored 194/7 but their bowlers failed to defend that total as Worcestershire reached their target with two balls to spare. Prior to that match however, Durham had won five matches in a row and most of those wins were secured by healthy margins.
Durham Predicted Playing 11
Tom Latham (c), Graham Clark, Liam Trevaskis, Ryan Davies, Ryan Pringle, Stuart Poynter (wk), James Weighell, Nathan Rimmington, Barry McCarthy, Chris Rushworth, Ben Whitehead
