Surrey were asked to bat first but Hampshire will have been regretting the decision as Will Jacks and Sam Curran blasted 131 runs for the second wicket. Both hit scores in the 60s before West Indian, Sunil Narine, hit 52 from 23 balls. Defending their mammoth score of 228, Sam Curran starred with the ball and finished with 5-30.
