Jamaica Tallawahs are favourites to win
Jamaica Tallawahs will take on Saint Lucia Kings in Match 7 of the Men’s 6ixty. The game will be played at Warner Park Sporting Complex, Basseterre Muscat starting at 10:00 local time on Saturday 27th August.
Jamaica Tallawahs currently top the table in the Men’s 6ixthy after taking maximum points from their games against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Barbados Royals. They beat the Patriots by 55 runs after bowling them out for 84 from 7.2 overs. The Royals were beaten by the slightly smaller but still convincing margin of 41 runs on Friday. Both of these victories have come after the Tallawahs have lost the toss and been asked to bat first. Each time they have responded with big 100+ scores, they have recorded the two highest team totals in the competition so far. The Tallawahs are already guaranteed to finish in the top four and proceed to the semi-finals.
Saint Lucia Kings sit rock bottom of the Men’s 6ixty table after losing both matches so far. They are the only team to still be looking for their first win after defeats to Guyana Amazon Warriors on Thursday and St Kitts & Nevis Patriots on Friday. The batting of the Kings has been their main problem after being bowled out for 104 and 66, the latter saw Johnson Charles top scoring with 28 runs from 14 balls. 23 year old left-arm spinner Jeavor Royal has been a rare bright spot for the team, he has taken two wickets in both games and has conceded a combined 44 runs.
The match will be played at Warner Park Sporting Complex, Basseterre. Any score of over 100 will be very hard for the opposition to overcome in this competition.

Although we do expect Saint Lucia Kings to be competitive in this match, we do not see them causing many problems to Jamaica Tallawahs. The strength of the batting of the Tallawahs is on a different level to other sides and we are predicting a victory for them in this game
