Who will win Hubli Tigers vs Bellary Tuskers, KPL 2019?
One of the more consistent teams in the group stage over the last four editions of the Karnataka Premier League, Hubli Tigers are under pressure now after losing their first game. They will look to bounce back when they take on Bellary Tuskers on August 19 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The live action starts at 15:00 local time.
The Tuskers made a winning start to their campaign, however – a narrow five-run victory against Belagavi Panthers. Another win would put them in a strong position after just two group games and leave the Tigers with an uphill battle if they are to maintain their run of play-off finishes and perhaps even end their long wait for the title.

HT vs BLARY Toss Prediction
Hubli Tigers won the toss last time out and went against the grain by electing to bat first. If given their chance again they could opt to bowl first this time. That said, the Tuskers are due to win the toss, having been unsuccessful last time out.
HT vs BLARY Weather Report
Though the chance of rain has dropped slightly from the previous day, there is still forecast to be a 50-50 chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms throughout the day in Bangalore.
HT vs BLARY Pitch Condition
The matches played at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium so far in this year’s tournament have not been as high-scoring as usual – the pacey pitch and short boundaries usually encourage big totals.

Hubli Tigers Team News & Playing 11
HT Team News
The Tigers kept hold of Mohammad Taha, Praveen Dubey and captain Vinay Kumar from last season’s beaten semi-finalists but they lacked enough runs and their bowling was not economical enough last time out. There is a lot to prove this time out.
HT Key Players
Mohammed Taha: The opener caught the eye with back-to-back half-centuries in his first two appearances in last season’s competition and will want to build on that form having been retained for the new campaign.
KB Pawan: The mainstay of the innings last time out, injecting some much-needed tempo as he hit seven fours and a six on his way to his 37-ball 53 against Shivamogga Lions.
R Vinay Kumar: The Hubli Tigers’ veteran captain and one-time Indian test cap was in the wickets for Karnataka in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His medium-pace bowling saw him finish with seven wickets in his final five appearances – that’s the mark for him to return to in the KPL.
HT Team Form
Hubli Tigers fell to a six-wicket defeat in their first match of this season’s tournament. KB Pawan’s half-century lifted them to 154 all out but that score proved well below par as the Shivamogga Lions got home with two overs to spare.

Mohammed Taha, Luvnith Sisodia (wk), Shishir Bhavane, KB Pawan, Krishnan Shrijith, Praveen Dubey, Vinay Kumar (c), Aditya Somanna, Mitrakanth Yadav, Mahesh Patel, Abhilash Shetty
Bellary Tuskers Team News & Playing 11
BLARY Team News
Captained by wicket-keeper batsman Chidhambaram Gautam, the Tuskers recruitment at the KPL auction already looks to be paying off with Abhishek Reddy – preparing to face his former team in this game – one of their biggest signings.
BLARY Key Players
Abhishek Reddy: A key batsman for the Hubli Tigers last season, Reddy – whose form prompted a Karnataka recall – is now a Tusker and started the tournament by hitting 35 in the opening game.
Devdutt Padikkal: The India Under-19 international is surely destined for bigger things, after already catching the eye at youth level and for Karnataka. For now, he is with the Tuskers and he started the tournament with a man-of-the-match award for his half-century against the Panthers.
Krishnappa Gowtham: One of the more notable players involved in this year’s tournament, the Rajasthan Royals’ bowler and lower-order batsman started the 2019 KPL with 2-32 in the Tuskers’ opening win.
BLARY Team Form
Bellary Tuskers started the 2019 KPL with a narrow win. They beat Belagavi Panthers by five runs after Devdutt Padikkal’s half-century led them to 143/5 last time out. Krishnappa Gowtham was one of three bowlers to take two wickets, alongside fellow IPL ace Prasidh Krishna, as they restricted the Panthers to 138/8 in reply.

Hubli Tigers vs Bellary Tuskers Head to Head
With Hubli Tigers among the more consistent teams in the tournament, the Tuskers have only beaten them once – though that play-off win in 2016 set them up to go on and win the overall title. Last year’s match was abandoned, meaning they have not met since a 39-run Tigers win in 2017.
