The Warriors beat Trinbago Knight Riders by 15 runs in their opening match before beating Barbados Royals by five wickets in their second fixture. Jamaican Stafanie Taylor has been the top scoring batter for the Amazon Warriors in both of their matches and will be the key wicket for Trinbago in this match. With the ball, 23 year old Cherry-Ann Fraser returned figures of 3-6 against the Royals, the joint best figures seen so far in the tournament.
Trinbago Knight Riders lost their matches on Wednesday but kept their campaign alive by beating Barbados Royals on Thursday. The win was particularly notable for 18 year old American bowler, Geetika Kodali, who took the first hat-trick in the tournament. Kodali dismissed Hayley Matthews, Britney Cooper and Chloe Tryon to put her name into the history books. Earlier in the game, the top order three of captain Deandra Dottin, Lee-Ann Kirby and Sune Luus delivered with the bat. All three had strike-rates of over 135 with Dottin top scoring before falling only four runs short of a half-century.
