Nasum Ahmed opened the bowling in the last match against Sylhet Thunder and he is likely to bowl in the powerplay again along with Rubel Hossain.
Chattogram Challengers will bank on the likes of Avishka Fernando and Imrul Kayes to score the big runs at the top of the order. Both had a good outing with the bat in the last match against Sylhet Thunder and the team will be expecting another good performance from them. Chadwick Walton and Ryan Burl are the vital cogs in the middle order. Rubel Hossain returned impressive figures of 4-0-27-2 and he will look to make an impact with the ball in this match as well. Skipper Rayad Emrit and Nasum Ahmed are two other bowlers to watch out for.
Chattogram Challengers were impressive last season where they finished third in the league standings with seven wins and five losses from twelve matches. They managed to make it to the play-offs despite losing four of their last five matches but were knocked out in the Eliminator after suffering a six-wicket defeat against Dhaka Dynamites.

Khulna Tigers will be captained by wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim in this seventh season of the Bangladesh Premier League. Najibullah Zadran, Rilee Rossouw and the skipper himself will make up the team's top-order batting while Shamsur Rahman, Aminul Islam and Robbie Frylinck will form the middle order. Shafiul Islam, Mohammad Amir and Wanindu Hasaranga are three of the specialist bowlers in the squad.
Rilee Rossouw, Mushfiqur Rahim and Najibullah Zadran are the big guns for Khulna Tigers as far as batting is concerned. Rossouw is likely to open the batting and the onus will be on this left-handed South African to take the team off to a good start. Mushfiqur is familiar with the conditions and he too is expected to play a big knock here. Mohammad Amir will pose the biggest threat to Chattogram Challengers with the ball. The Pakistani pacer will lead Khulna's bowling attack. Batsmen, however, will also be wary of the likes of Mehidy Hasan and Shafiul Islam.
Khulna Tigers had a very poor campaign last time, finishing the league stage at the bottom of the points table with just two wins from their twelve fixtures. They started off with three losses from their first three matches and bowed out of the competition in the same fashion - with defeats in their last three matches.
