AU-L vs SA-L T20 Match Prediction & Betting Tips, Road Safety World Series 2022

Australia Legends will take on South Africa Legends in Match 15 of the Road Safety World Series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun. The game begins at 15:30 local time on Saturday 24th September.

Australia Legends

Shane Watson’s side got their first win in the 2022 Road Safety World Series in Match 11 on Sunday when they beat Bangladesh by three wickets. They reached their target of 159 with a four from the final ball and 21 runs from the final over of the game.

AU-L Batting

Eight bowlers were used across the 20 overs of Bangladesh’s innings with spinner Brad Hodge the only bowler not  to take a wicket. Shane Watson and Bryce McGain were the only bowlers to deliver four overs but it was Dirk Nannes with the best figures, 1-2 from two overs.

AU-L Bowling

It was very hard going for the Australia Legends’ bowling attack in Kanpur with only Brett Lee making one breakthrough across their 20 overs in the field. Dirk Nannes and Chad Sayers were the only bowlers to concede less than 10 runs per over in the defeat against Sri Lanka Legends.

AU-L Form

Australia Legends were well beaten by Sri Lanka Legends by 38 runs in their first game but responded well with the narrow win over Bangladesh.

South Africa Legends 

With three points from four games, South Africa Legends are in fifth place in the 2022 Road Safety World Series. They were well beaten by India Legends in the opening match of the tournament but responded with a nine-wicket win over New Zealand Legends. Their game with England Legends was then abandoned before losing to Sri Lanka.

SA-L Batting

Morne van Wyk is one of only four players to have scored over 100 runs in the tournament so far. He began with 40 runs across his opening two games before hitting a very impressive 76 runs from 56 balls against Sri Lanka Legends. Vernon Philander was the only other South African to hit a six in the defeat in Match 10.

SA-L Bowling

Garnett Kruger took 2-43 from his four overs against Sri Lanka Legends but it was spinner Johan Botha and pace bowler Vernon Philander who both took 1-18 with Botha’s figures from four overs and Philander’s from three. Thandi Tshabalala took 3-9 in the win over New Zealand Legends.

SA-L Form

South Africa Legends have underperformed so far in the tournament but a win in this game would see them move up into the top half of the table.

AU-L vs SA-L Pitch Report

The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun. Any total over 170 will be very hard to chase down on this pitch which will offer something for all types of bowlers.
