A young team India will take on a motivated Zimbabwe in the three-match ODI series. Zimbabwe had a remarkable series against Bangladesh and won the T20I and ODI series. The series win will be a massive confidence booster for the Zimbabwe team. They will be looking to perform well against India as well and if they can win a game or two, that will be massive for them.
Meanwhile, India defeated West Indies in the last series. They have rested their key players for the series but still, they are not short on quality. KL Rahul will be leading the side and will have players like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shubman Gill, Shikhar Dhawan, Deepak Hooda, and Sanju Samson, among others in the team.
The match will start in the morning thus new ball will be key. The ball does swing in the first half an hour or so in Zimbabwe and both teams will be looking to take advantage of that. Once the wicket settles, it will be a good one to bat.
The weather will be bright and sunny, with no threat of rain. The temperature will range between 11 to 21 degrees.

KL Rahul is returning to the team after an injury and he will be keen to do well. He is one of the most talented batters in India and will be looking to pick some momentum ahead of the Asia Cup by performing well in Zimbabwe.
This might be the final opportunity for Sanju Samson to cement his place in the Indian team. He has been in and out and has failed to deliver when given an opportunity. With so much competition, he needs to perform well in the series.
He was in staggering form in the ODI series against Bangladesh and scored two match-winning hundreds. He will be keen to continue his form against India as well.
He is a valuable player in the team. He will create a lot of problems for the Zimbabwe batters with his left arm spinners. He can also play vital knocks down the order.
All eyes will be on Deepak Chahar as well who is returning to the Indian team after an injury. Chahar will look to get into form from match one. India is looking for a third seamer for the main team and if Chahar can perform well, it will be a great deal for India.
