Zimbabwe started the series with a bang and defeated Bangladesh in the first T20I by 17 runs. They posted a solid total of 205, courtesy of Sikandar Raza, Westley Madhvere and Craig Ervine, and later put up a spirited bowling performance to beat the visitors. However, in the very next game, they could only manage 135, which was easily chased by Bangladesh.
Zimbabwe need to be consistent with their batting. They need to aim for a score of around 180 to put Bangladesh in any trouble. They have done it in the first game, and if they can post another healthy total, Bangladesh will be in trouble. However, the Tigers have a solid bowling attack, and they won’t make it easy for the hosts at any cost.
The wicket has been a good one to bat. The first game was a high-scoring one and there were no demons in the pitch in the second game as well. Good batters will be able to score runs here, while good bowlers will be hard to get away due to their skills.
The skies will be bright and sunny during the match. It will be a cold day as the temperature will dip down to 8 degrees, but the sun will bring some respite to the players.
