Bangladesh and UAE are playing a two-match T20I series in Dubai. Bangladesh won the first game by a close margin of 7 runs. UAE had a good game with the ball and restricted Bangladesh to 158-5. However, the team failed to chase the target and were bowled out for 151.
UAE is a good team in these conditions thus Bangladesh cannot afford to be lenient and take things for granted. The last game was a perfect example that UAE is well capable to beat Bangladesh. If UAE can push a little harder, it won’t be a big surprise if they beat Bangladesh.
The surface in Dubai will favour the spinners. The Asia Cup wickets were quite flat but the pitches are exhausted now and spinners will have a big role to play. It won’t be very easy to score runs on this surface.
Rain is never a concern in Dubai but the temperature will soar the to high 30s which can be challenging for the players. However, both these teams are used to playing in these conditions.

Both teams are unlikely to make changes to their combination in the coming game given that it’s a short series.

Miraz has been promoted as a Bangladesh opener and he has looked very comfortable at that position. He has been given the license to play attacking cricket and he played a few good innings in the Asia Cup. He is also a very handy spinner and picked three wickets in the last game which makes him a valuable pick.
Afif has been a great find for Bangladesh. He is one of their most consistent batters and he proved his worth for the team after playing a brilliant 77 run knock in the last game. He is likely to continue his form and have a good game.
Chirag Suri made 39 off 24 balls in the last game and gave UAE a good start. Chirag is very experienced in this format of the game and has scored 788 runs for UAE at an average of 32. He has also scored seven half centuries which tells a lot about his skills.
Spinners will be key and spin bowling all-rounders are worth gold on this pitch. Hossain is a very good player to back as he is a solid batter and a very good spinner. He has scored 313 runs in T20Is and has also picked 14 wickets in 24 games.
He is one of the best batters from the country and carries a great amount of experience behind him. Rizwan doesn’t have a great record to show as he has only played 11 games but his record in domestic tournaments is astounding and it’s just a matter of time before he proves his credentials as a batter at the big stage as well.
