Knight Riders have a strong team on paper with players like Colin Munro, Tim Seifert, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine, yet their performance has been poor, especially from the batters.

Meanwhile, Barbados Royals have been unstoppable so far, winning all five games they have played. They have been the best team in the tournament as all their wins have been comprehensive. The last time these two teams met, Barbados won the match by 80 runs

Quinton de Kock

De Kock finally got back to form and played a good hand of 64 against Jamaica Tallawahs. We all know how dangerous De Kock can be on his day but his form of late was not good. But this innings will give him a lot of confidence and we may get to see free flowing De Kock of old in the matches to come.

Corbin Bosch

Bosch’s promotion to the top order has worked well for Barbados. 81 and 56 are his knocks in the last two matches and he looks in red hot form at the moment. He is a good addition to our team given his form.

Nicholas Pooran

Pooran has been out of form for a while, but none of the batters from Knight Riders have done well in the tournament. If we need to bet on a player, it has to be Pooran who is one of the few TKR batters who is an active international cricketer and plays regular cricket.

Kyle Myers

Kyle Myers has been a good addition to his Barbados team. He is a player who opens the batting and bowling for Barbados which tells how much the team relies on him. Myers has played a couple of good knocks with the bat and has bowled brilliantly as well. He has taken five wickets in as many matches so far.

Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine is not the same player he used to be but he is still very effective. While he has not scored many runs, he has been brilliant with the ball. In the last game, he bowled a spell of 2-11 in 4 overs.
