Sunrisers Hyderabad will be disappointed with how things have gone for them this IPL. The team is deemed one of the title contenders but have somehow played below-par cricket. Despite having some serious players in the team, SRH have only managed two wins in their six games.
If there is one team that has played worse cricket than SRH then it is Delhi Capitals. The David Warner-led side lost five games in a row before picking up a rare win against Kolkata Knight Riders. Delhi deservingly are placed last on the points table.
The surface will be on the slower side and will assist the spinners. The ball might stop a bit before coming onto the bat, making stroke-making difficult.
There is a 40 per cent chance of rain just before the game but the skies will clear by the time match starts. We can have a slight delay in the match today but no reduction of overs are expected.
Aiden Markram (c), Harry Brook, Mayank Agarwal/Abdul Samad, Rahul Tripathi, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Abhishek Sharma, Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Markande, Umran Malik
David Warner (c), Philip Salt (wk), Mitchell Marsh, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Aman Hakim Khan, Lalit Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Ishant Sharma, Mukesh Kumar
Mayank Agarwal has been in poor form so he may have to sit out in the coming game. He was pushed down the order in the last game but failed to deliver again. For Delhi, while players have not performed, the team might want to stick with the winning combination.
The head-to-head shows that the two teams have been highly competitive against each other. Both teams have struggled this season and it will be interesting to see how they fare in the coming game.

No matter how much people talk about David Warner's lack of intent this season, one cannot deny that he has been the best Delhi batter. Warner has scored 285 runs in six matches, with four half-centuries for his team. His strike rate also improved in the last game so some fireworks can be expected of him against SRH.
Harry Brook scored a scintillating century against Kolkata Knight Riders. While he hasn't backed up his century with another big knock, he has looked in good touch during his stay at the crease. Many feel that Brook can score a few more centuries this season.
Aiden Markam has blown hot and cold in the tournament. He has scored one fifty in the tournament but has largely looked out of touch. Markram needs to find his mojo back if SRH have to turn things around this season.
Mayank Markande has bowled brilliantly this season and has reaped rewards for the same. With eight wickets in four matches, Markande is SRH's best bowler so far this season.
Not a lot has gone right for Delhi this season but Axar Patel is one positive for them. He has played a few good knocks for the team while also bowling crucial overs. If there is one player you should not miss out from Delhi Capitals, it's him.
