Babar Azam has not been at his best in the tournament but he gave signs of a return to form after scoring 30 in the last game against Sri Lanka. Babar is a big game player and we are optimistic that he will perform well when it matters the most.
Mohammad Rizwan has had a fantastic run in the tournament. He has scored 226 runs in five games and is the second-highest run scorer of the tournament. He was the one who helped Pakistan beat India after scoring a brilliant half-century and he will look to lead Pakistan to a win in the final as well.
Pathum Nissanka scored 55 to help Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 5 wickets in the last league game. Nissanka has had a good tournament and he has batted with great aggression and positive intent. So far, he has scored 155 runs in 5 games including a couple of half-centuries.
Wanindu Hasaranga was expected to trouble the Pakistan batters and he did it after picking three wickets for 21 runs. Hasaranga is one of the best spinners going around and will hold the key for Sri Lanka in the final.
Shadab Khan will be a key player for Pakistan due to his all-round skills. He is a game changer with the bat and with the ball, he is very clever and will pose a stiff challenge to the Sri Lanka batters. It won’t be easy to score against him and he might pick a few wickets as well.
