Not a lot of experts gave South Africa a chance in top 3 but the Proteas are well and truly in the hunt after picking back-to back wins over Sri Lanka and Australia. The wins have been convincing, with both having a margin of over a 100. The likes of Aiden Markram, Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen have scored centuries while Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj and Lungi Ngidi have bowled really well. South Africa are looking a force to reckon with.
Netherlands, on the other hand, have lost both games. They have bowled well in patches but the batting has been average which has resulted in a big defeats.
Let’s take a look at the dream11 team prediction for this match.
The wicket is a good one to bat. The outfield is a cause of concern and can pose injury risk to players but for the batters, it is a good ground to play cricket. 280-300 should be a good score to chase.
It will be a cold day in Dharamsala, with temperature dipping to 11 degrees. There is 60 per cent chance of rain as well.
Quinton de Kock (wk), Temba Bavuma (c), Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi/Gerald Coetzee
Vikramjit Singh, Max ODowd, Colin Ackermann, Bas de Leede, Teja Nidamanuru, Scott Edwards (c & wk), Sybrand Engelbrecht/Logan van Beek, Roelof van der Merwe, Ryan Klein, Aryan Dutt, Paul van Meekeren
South Africa might want to bring in extra seamer in Dharamsala so Tabraiz Shamsi can make way for Gerald Coetzee. Logan van Beek missed Netherlands match against New Zealand due to a hamstring injury. His status is still awaited. Netherlands would want him fit and running.
South Africa have a 100 per cent win record in completed games against Netherlands.

De Kock has started the World Cup in fine fashion, with back to back centuries against Sri Lanka and Australia. De Kock will retire after the ODI World Cup and he is surely making his swansong event count.
Aiden Markram has also looked in top form. He scored a 49 ball century against Sri Lanka and then backed it up with 44 ball 56 against Australia. The top order for South Africa is looked very strong.
Rabada bowled with fire against Australia and accounted for three wickets. When on song, there is hardly any bowler better than Rabada. The spell against Australia has set him up nicely for a good season of the World Cup.
Maharaj has also bowled well for South Africa. The Dutch are not great players of spin and Maharaj can give them a hard time in the middle. He picked two wickets against Australia as well.
Netherlands need a good start to put South Africa under pressure and Max O’Dowd is a capable batter who can give Netherlands the start they need. It will be tough against quality attack but he is surely capable to do that.
