Royal Challengers Bangalore started off IPL 2023 well by winning against Mumbai Indians, however, they lost their following two games. The game against KKR was horrible for them as the team was bowled out for 123 in chase of 205 but the team played well against LSG and only conceded a defeat on the final ball of the game by 1 wicket, defending 212.
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals too is going through a torrid run, losing all four games they have played so far. The David Warner-led side has been let down by the batters with no batter stepping up to the occasion. Warner has scored three fifties in four matches but his strike rate has been way below par.
It is a small ground and run-scoring is pretty easy given that the surface offered here hardly has any help for the fast bowlers, barring the first couple of overs with the new ball.
The temperature in Bangalore will come down to 21 degrees in the evening. The conditions will be perfect for cricket as there is no threat of rain.

Virat Kohli has been in sublime form in IPL 2023. He has scored two fifties in three matches and is RCB’s second-highest run-getter this season with 164 runs at an average of 82. Kohli has been in great form and enjoys a brilliant record at Chinnaswami so he will be key for RCB.
Faf du Plessis has also been brilliant for RCB, with two fifties in three matches. Faf has scored 175 runs in three matches. The Faf-Kohli combo at the top makes RCB’s top order look daunting.
David Warner has scored runs for his DC in all games. He has three fifties to his name in four games. Warner needs to work on his strike rate as his slow knocks are putting DC under pressure. Maybe he wants to anchor the innings but things are not working for Delhi. One of the major reasons for his slow knocks are failures of other batters so if other players can raise their hands, we may see a different Warner.
Mohammed Siraj has been a strike bowler for RCB and has bowled exceptionally well for the team. Siraj has got RCB early wickets in every game and the team will be expecting him to do the same against DC as well.
Mustafizur Rahman is one of the best pacers in this format of the game. He has plenty of tricks in his armory and is not easy to score off. He bowls at death and thus picks many wickets.
