New Zealand will look to seek revenge for the previous loss when they take on Pakistan in the 4th match of the T20I series. Pakistan have been brilliant in the two games they have played and have picked wins over Bangladesh and New Zealand. The hosts, on the other hand, defeated Bangladesh in their second game after losing to Pakistan in the first game.
It will be a big test for the Kiwi batters against Pakistan bowling, however, we know that this New Zealand team is very capable to tackle any attack. Also, NZ will know that if they can remove Babar and Rizwan early, they will suck the life out of the Pakistan team.
The pitches so far have been supportive of good cricket and have helped the bowlers as much as the batters. It’s a good wicket to bat on, especially with short boundaries but the new ball does move around.
It will be a cold day with temperatures ranging around 10 degrees. In terms of rain, there are very little chances of any interruption.
Finn Allen, Devon Conway (wk), Kane Williamson (c), Glenn Phillips, Mark Chapman, James Neesham, Michael Bracewell/Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi, Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Trent Boult/Lockie Ferguson
Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Shan Masood, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Haris Rauf/Mohammad Hasnain, Shahnawaz Dahani
If Mitchell Santner is available for selection, he should be in the team for sure but we are not sure if he has joined the squad or not. New Zealand can also rest one of Boult or Southee to keep them fresh. Pakistan would also make a few changes and may rest Haris Rauf and bring in Mohammad Hasnain.
Pakistan have dominated New Zealand in T20Is.
Matches Played | Pakistan | New Zealand | NR | |

Babar Azam was at his peak form in the last game against New Zealand and played a match-winning innings of 79 in 53 balls. Babar has struggled of late but every now and then he plays one such brilliant knock. He will be eyeing another good show in the coming game as well.
Mohammad Rizwan endured a rare failure in the last game but he scored a brilliant 78 in the first game. Rizwan has been remarkable for Pakistan in recent times and has carried the team on his shoulder. He too will be looking to come back strong in the coming game.
Devon Conway once again showed his class and played a blistering inning of 70 against Bangladesh. Conway is arguably the most consistent batter in the New Zealand team and he is very capable to tackle the class Pakistan bowling.
We have seen Pakistan batters struggle against spinners of late and Ish Sodhi is not an easy bowler to face. He is very tight with his line and lengths and thus is not easy to hit away. He gets wickets and batters generally see him as a weak link in the Kiwi bowling.
Shadab Khan is a quality all-rounder. He is a very decent batter and can play according to the situation. He is also a quality spinner and has plenty of skills up his sleeves.
