It has been a tough ride for Khulna Tigers in the Bangladesh Premier League 2023 so far. The team has been knocked out from the playoff race after losing eight of the 10 games they have played. With nothing to lose, Khulna can play an aggressive brand of cricket and fetch themselves a win in final game.
However, it won't be easy against Sylhet Sixers, who are placed at the helm of the points table. Sylhet has been magnificent in the tournament, winning eight of the 11 matches. A win in the coming game will ensure a top two finish in the table and a place in the Qualifier which will give them a chance to get a direct entry into the final.
The surface should be favourable for slower bowlers. Pacers are unlikely to cause much trouble and batters will be eyeing to score off them while playing the spinners cautiously.
The weather will be cloudy and there is no chance of rain. The temperature will range between 28 and 17 degrees.

Mohammad Amir should be back in the Sylhet team after missing out in the last game. There is no clear update on Mashrafe Mortaza and a call on him playing the match will be taken before the match.
Sylhet are lagging behind Khulna in head-to-head but this season it has been a different story.

Mohammad Amir has been brilliant for the Strikers. He didn't play the last game but should be back in the XI for the final game. Amir has taken 13 wickets in 10 matches this season.
