Islamabad United managed to reach the playoffs after winning six of the 10 games. The start for United was not good but they bounced back to win a few games in the latter half of the tournament. They lost to Peshawar Zalmi in the last game.
Zalmi blew hot and cold in the tournament, winning five and losing five. The team, however, will be concerned about their bowling as they failed to defend 240+ scores on two occasions.
The Lahore surface is a much better cricketing surface were bowlers are also in the game, unlike Pindi where they were hammered to all parts of the ground.
The weather is not much of a concern in terms of rain as the chances are slender. However, heat and humidity can take a toll on players.

Babar Azam will be back in the Zalmi team after missing out on the last game. Islamabad should stick to an unchanged team.
It has been a tight affair between the two teams in PSL history

Key Players
In a must win game, there can be no bigger match winner for Zalmi than Babar Azam. With 416 runs in nine games, he is the second leading run scorer of the tournament.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore is another of those match winners who may not perform in every game but when they do, they ensure that their team comes on a winning side. Cadmore has enjoyed a decent season with 309 runs.
With 294 runs in the tournament, Munro has been the most successful batter from the Islamabad United side. Munro is a great pick given that he is someone who can play a role of an anchor and switch up the gears when needed.
We are going to have Faheem Ashraf a he is an all-rounder and contributes in both departments of a game. Ashraf scored 38 off 13 when these two teams last met and almost took Islamabad over the line.
He is a champion bowler who has been very good for United this year. Farooqui has taken 10 wickets in just five outings this season.
