This will be an interesting series because both teams are among the most promising and evolving cricket teams. Ireland and Afghanistan play a lot of cricket against each other and there is a bittersweet cricketing rivalry between the teams.
The wickets were belters during NZ and SA series and once again we are expecting good batting tracks. However, spinners from SA and NZ troubled the Irish batters and Afghanistan have a very strong spin attack that can take full use of the conditions.
The weather will be slightly cloudy, but rain is unlikely to affect play. The temperature will range between 13-24 degrees.

Paul Stirling and Rashid Khan are part of the Hundred squads, but both players will be available for the series. Stirling will join the Southern Braves squad after the series while Rashid, who played one match for Trent Rockets, will come back for the series.
Ireland doesnt have a great record against Afghanistan but they have played most of their matches in Afghanistan. At home, they can improve this record.

All-rounders | Curtis Campher, Andy McBrine, Mohammed Nabi (C ) |
Bowlers | Mark Adair, Rashid Khan (VC), Noor Ahmed |
He is one of the best Afghan batters at the moment. He bats in the middle order and can play according to the situation. He can hold one end if Afghanistan lose early wickets and can tonk the ball big, playing the role of a finisher, in case of a good show by top order.
He is a very handy all-rounder to have. Nabi is a top batter and an equally good bowler. Players like him make a real difference for a team.
Not much need to be said about Rashid. If he is playing a game, he has to be in the fantasy team at all costs as he is a match winner for his team.
