India women will take on Thailand women in the first semi final of the Women's Asia Cup. Thailand women have over achieved in the tournament already having reached the top 4. They also picked up a win over UAE women and Pakistan women. Even though cricket is a game of uncertainties, India women is a too bigger opposition for them to pull off an upset.
India women have been top notch in the tournament. They did suffered a blow against Pakistan women but overall, they have been fantastic. They thrashed Thailand women by nine wickets in the last game after bowling them out for 37.
The surface is on the slower side and it is not easy to milk runs against the spinners. However, once the player get used to the surface and its pace, scoring is easy.
There is around 90 per cent chance of rain on the match day. The temperature will be around mid 20s but a shortened match is very much on the cards.

The swashbuckling batter will open the innings for India. It will be difficult for Thailand bowlers to get these batters out she is likely to score most of the runs for India.
Same theory applies to Mandhana as well. Also, the southpaw has been in tremendous form of late and is one of the best batters going around. Mandhana on her day will decimate best bowlers and Thailand women bowlers will have a mammoth task of containing her.
Deepti Sharma has been brilliant with the ball. She is the leading wickettaker of the tournament with 10 scalps and is likely to cause plenty of trouble for the Thailand batters.
Natthakan Chantam is one player from Thailand who can resist against the quality India bowling. She also scored a fifty against Pakistan women.
Rajeshwari Gaykwad is also a good pick as left arm spinners are tough to face amd Thailand women haven't played quality left arm spin. Gaykwad troubled them in the last game as well and picked two wickets for 8 runs.
