Venue | County Ground, Bristol |
Gloucestershire has not enjoyed a great season so far. The team has played four matches, winning just one and losing three. They lost the first two matches to Kent and Glamorgan before bouncing back to win against Middlesex. However, they suffered yet another defeat to Essex in the last game.
Meanwhile, Surrey has been brilliant with wins in three of the four matches. They picked up wins over Middlesex, Kent and Hampshire while their only defeat came against Surrey.
The surface should be a good one to bat. The pitch in Bristol offers consistent pace and bounce and if the batters can negotiate the first few overs, it becomes easier to bat.
The weather will be slightly cloudy with a 10 per cent chance of rain. The temperature will range between 21 and 8 degrees.

Surrey has enjoyed decent success against Gloucestershire, winning 10 of the 15 matches.

Will Jacks has played a couple of handy knocks for Surrey. Opening the batting, he has given a fiery start to the team. In the last match against Hampshire, Jacks scored a solid 83 not out
Sam Curran is another player one must have in the team. Curran is a magnificent all-round option. He scored a fifty in the opening game and helped his side post a big score. With the ball, he is always a wicket-taker.
Tom Curran is also a good player to have. Curran bowls at death which increase the possibility of picking wickets. Also, he is a handy batter down the order and has proved his potential, scoring a 50 in the first match.
The opening batter hasn’t got going so far in the tournament but he is a decent batter and has been getting starts in almost every game so a big inning should not be too far away.
Payne has bowled some good spells for Gloucestershire and has looked the best of all team bowlers. He will be eyeing a good show against Surrey.
