The ODI series between England and South Africa ended in a 1-1 draw. South Africa thrashed England by 62 runs in the first game before the hosts bounced back to win the second game by 118 runs. South Africa were in a good position in the final game, but rain forced the match to be called off.
Both England and South Africa are among the top T20I teams and fans are expecting a cracking T20I series. England lost their last T20I series to India thus they will be keen to bounce back. However, the form of players like Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali will be a concern.
The pitch will be a good one to bat and given the quality of batters in both teams, one can expect a high-scoring game at Bristol.
The weather will be cloudy but there is no threat of rain. During the evening, the temperature will dip down to 12 degrees which is quite chilly.
Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Harry Brooks, Dawid Malan, Jos Buttler (c & wk), Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, David Willey/Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Reece Topley
Reeza Hendricks/Rilee Rossouw, Quinton de Kock (wk), Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller (C), Dwaine Pretorius, Keshav Maharaj, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi
Both teams will play more or less the same team barring a few confirmed changes. Joe Root is not part of the T20 squad thus Dawid Malan will come in place of him. For SA, Reeza Hendricks or Rilee Rossouw will replace Janneman Malan.
Both teams have been very competitive against each other.

He is a top T20 batter, and has been in some solid form as well throughout the last few months. He is also the skipper of the side and will be more determined to play a crucial role in the team’s win.
Jos Buttler has been out of form for a while but given his quality, it won’t take too long for him to come back to form. We feel a big knock is somewhere around the corner thus we have picked him in the team.
He is a good pick for an all-rounder. He bowls really well and often picks up wickets for his team. He can be used as a floater in the batting and can be sent up to hit a few lusty blows.
The ace all-rounder has to be in the T20 team given his skills. He is a very good batter and an even better bowler when it comes to this format of the game.
Shamsi has been one of the best bowlers in T20I cricket for a long time now. His variations and control make him a tough bowler to face. Often, he is the highest wicket-taker for SA in T20I matches.
