Zimbabwe are favorites to win
Zimbabwe will take on Namibia in the fifth and final game of a five-match IT20 series. The game will be played at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo starting at 13:00 local time on Tuesday May 24th.
Although Zimbabwe posted their highest team total of the series on Sunday, they were still second best and fell to an 6 wicket defeat with Namibia hitting four of the final ball of the match to win the game. Opener Wesley Madhevere had earlier top scored for Zimbabwe for the second successive game in the series. His 50 came from 32 balls and included five fours and one six before he was run-out in the 11th over. With the ball, Tendai Chatara continued his wicket taking series but it was Luke Jongwe who recorded the best figures of 2-35.
Namibia have shown plenty of character already in this series and have bounced back from each defeat with a win to level the scores. Sunday’s win was all the more impressive with victory secured from the last ball of the game and the total chased down the highest score posted so far in the series. Skipper Gerhard Erasmus was the batting hero with 59 not-out from 43 balls and was supported by opener Michael van Lingen who also scored a half-century. With the ball, Bernard Scholtz took 3-25.
The match will be played at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. There was a little more pace in the wicket on Sunday and we expect a par score to be around 170 in this deciding IT20.

This should be an excellent game to end the series with both teams still able to win the five-match affair. Namibia do not know when they are beaten and, although underdogs, will fancy their chances of making it two wins on the bounce. However, overall we expect Zimbabwe to just do enough to win the match.
