After India took a 1-0 lead over Zimbabwe in their three match ODI series with a crushing 10 wicket win in Harare on Thursday, the teams go head to head in Match 2 on Saturday. The series is part of the World Cup Super League, Zimbabwe are in 12th place with India in eighth spot. Read on as we preview this match. The ODI begins at 09:15 local time.
Zimbabwe were nowhere near their best in Thursday’s match with their top order contributing only 18 runs from the first four batters. If a better platform can be built then they will be far more competitive.

Opener Takudzwanashe Kaitano missed out in the first game of the series with the experienced Sean Williams coming back into the team. Williams slotted in at number three with Innocent Kaia promoted to open. This series was never going to be easy and we expect to see the same XI.
Zimbabwe did win their recent ODI series with Bangladesh but have now lost successive games in this format.

KL Rahul’s side reported no injuries after their easy win on Thursday and we do not anticipate any changes to the side with the series still on the line ahead of Saturday’s game. KL Rahul did not get an opportunity to bat so may move up the order if necessary in this match.
India have now won five consecutive games in ODIs. Similar to other formats, India have more strength in depth than most other teams.
